The film depicts the life of ‘Ankine of Samatya’, a canto singer of Armenian origin, and reveals her struggle against the difficulties she faced in the close vicinity and in her family. Since she had started to study canto and music, she always run into difficulties.  Her family didn’t hold with her dealing with music and dance. Besides, after getting married with a Muslim man, religious and cultural conflicts were added to her problems as well.
